Light of other days presents: As I hear it w/ Lauren Huret

We are happy to present the second round of "As I hear it". After a first introduction at Radio Bollwerk we're happy to introduce our newest project at Transition Radio together with one of the artists, Lauren Huret.

Lauren is a visual artist based in Geneva whose practice revolves primarily around video, performance, installation, and collage. She's interested in the systems of belief and thought conveyed through our technical and media apparatuses. Over time, her work has evolved toward a reflection on the affective power of images, grounded in the idea that our era is marked by an unprecedented level of exposure to them. Her focus lies on analysing their suggestive power, their performativity, and their political implications. Lauren is also somewhat of a music aficionado and often takes the role of the music selector. On top of that, she's an immensely interesting discussion partner and a hilariously funny person.
