For three weeks, seven musicians and producers from East Africa and Europe came together to experiment new sounds, inspired by a wide variety of artistic environments and soundscapes.

Documenting from different angles the process of music production they celebrates the avant-garde sound music that characterizes the digital age.

The result is Extra Muros - Kenya, a creative residency programme organized by FLEE which took place in September 2019 at the Elephant Studio in Nairobi.

We had the pleasure to host a distant mix stream from one of these artists straight outta Uganda : Slikback (producer, performer and dj related to Nyege Nyege).
