an archive of beloved things w/ lobu

an archive of beloved things' is an invitation for artists who have an interest in sound(ing), to create sonic collages that are expressions of loving moments of belonging. specifically from the perspectives of bodies who navigate societal margins. 'the margin' is understood as an expansive and everchanging place where imagination and dreaming are not optional, but rather essential tools for worldbuilding.

my intention for this residency is to collectively remember and share moments of belonging through sonic archives. it is an attempt at creating a space where people who navigate life at the margins daily, can find solace and connection through sound. and where we can collectively (re)imagine what belonging sounds like at the edge.
