for those who forgot, SOORIYAN means SUN in tamil. much like our celebration of pongal, a tradition to express gratitude to the sun and harvest, we are centering this residency on the sun.

sunrise and sunset are those memorable moments where music feels different. to celebrate the „great dimmer switch“ of the sky, we will start each show with a short conversation exchanging memories/ moments of experiencing sound during dusk and dawn.

think of that specific feeling in the early morning after a long rave, when the first sunlight starts cutting through the club fog or those romantic, funny nights sitting on a mountain cliff or by the river with your besties, watching the horizon change colors.
