Soundbody is an experimental sound performance project that moves beyond conventional musical structures. It centers on real-time sound, especially the subtle, often overlooked sounds that surround us, and transforms them through live sampling, instruments, voice, and the body.
We work with recordings collected in our daily lives and while traveling, creating a shared archive. These field recordings are mixed with sounds produced live using a hybrid setup: Ableton, synthesizers, microphones, flute, trumpet, objects, voices and bodies, to create a new living soundscape.
The performance unfolds as a shared journey rather than a fixed composition. Audience members are invited to move, pause, breathe, and occasionally participate through a brief sound, gesture, voice, or movement, becoming part of the evolving sonic environment.
With Soundbody, the collective Soundbuddy turns Transition Radio into a spontaneous stage!
